BOOK FAIR 2024

PM Shri KV No 1 Ishapore has organized a Book Exhibition come Book Fair for its students and staff members. The event was held from 22nd oct to 24th oct, 2024. The Book Fair was thoughtfully arranged in the spacious Bal Vatika Room on the ground floor, ensuring easy accessibility for all visitors. The event was inaugurated by the Principal Shri B B Mahato.

The event also fulfill the ongoing PM Shri Panch Pran activity of Reading Promotion week 2.

It was well received by the students as well as the staff members.

To ensure a systematic and organized visit for all students, a carefully planned timetable was implemented for both the primary and the secondary classes. Classes were allocated specific time slots, preventing overcrowding and allowing students ample time to browse and select books. This structured approach also enabled teachers to guide their students effectively in choosing appropriate books.

Inaugural edition of e-magazine ‘Sapno ki Udaan’on virtual platform on National Space Day to commemorate 1st anniversary of landing of Chandrayaan-3

During the virtual launch of the e-magazine Sapno Ki Udaan, the Minister of Education expressed his enthusiasm for this initiative, highlighting its alignment with the core objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. He emphasized that the e-magazine would play a significant role in making education more accessible and equitable, ensuring that students are better prepared to meet the global challenges of the 21st century.

The Minister also commended the choice of the current theme, Space, noting how it perfectly captures the boundless imagination and curiosity of our young minds. He remarked that just as space represents endless possibilities, so too does the potential of our students, who are now equipped to explore new frontiers in knowledge and innovation. This launch marks a significant step forward in realizing the vision of NEP 2020, fostering an educational environment where creativity and forward-thinking are at the forefront.

BOOK EXHIBITION ON THE THE OCCASAION OF CHILDREN BOOK WEEK

A book exhibition was conducted in PM KV No1 Ishapore on the eve of celebrating the Children Library Week 2024.

The event was organized inside the library premise with the help of students and teachers under the guidance of our principal Sh. B. B. Mahato.

PUSTAKOPAHAR

The idea of "Pustakopahar" has been developed with the objective of using relatively new-used books by the students of all age groups before the beginning of an academic year. The books are especially useful for children from low economic backgrounds, who in spite of being able to afford education, are unable to afford academic session. Beside a step like this brings an opportunity to let the text books have a new life, also helping to save the environment.

Like every year PM Shri KV No. 1 Ishapore organized Pustakopahar this year too. Students have participated with enthusiasm with guidance by the teachers.
